Harold Wilson and entourage arrive at the new modern building of Merz College and are greeted by university staff and chancellors. He goes walk-about in the college. A university professor demonstrates laboratory equipment including a special light bulb in the engineering department and the prime minister meets and speaks with other members of the faculty during his tour of the college. Harold Wilson and numerous honorary and university faculty staff assemble on a balcony platform at Merz College before a large crowd in a seating stand and courtyard on the ground floor.
