There are traveling shots from, and excursions on, a sea plane and boat; surfing in the sea; and a shot of the Headlands Hotel. There is also extensive footage of the china clay industry in Cornwall, where a relative of Ian's grandmother was in charge. The work documented includes hosing down clay, slurry settled in pits, the great beam engine, and drying clay. Crowds flock to a Punch and Judy show on the beach.
