Title – Looking At Nidderdale
The film begins looking down onto the river at Knaresborough, and then at people near some ruins and at an outdoor swimming pool. There is a large car park, and then three girls going along a road on horseback, past the Malt Shovel pub at Brearton. A car passes over a small ford and there are scenic views of the countryside before visiting Farnham Parish Church, St Oswalds, opposite the Crown pub. A man with a pipe and a woman with glasses are on a country path looking down onto a stream. They take it in turns to pose on a bridge going over the stream. A farmer is driving a hay baler in the nearby field.
There are then lots of views over the valley and of the river before visiting a village, possibly Pateley Bridge, with a road sign for the A61 to Harrogate and the A6265 to Ripon. They film as they drive through the village, and a red number 36 bus to Ripon passes by. They continue their car journey, stopping by a stream, where there is a wood with bluebells. There is a road sign for Burton Leonard, with other road signs going off. They stop here and the woman feeds a cow. Adele and her daughter walk around the church and the village. They then visit Brimham Rocks, along with other visitors. They visit another village where there is a road sign for Copgrove and Knaresborough.
