This film includes views of the Thruscross reservoir taken on the ground and from the air.
Description This film includes views of the Thruscross reservoir taken on the ground and from the air. The film opens with shots of the reservoir filling up, and the river before it reaches the reservoir. The old church at village of West End is seen being flooded out. At Yeadon airport, the camera goes airborne in Mr D.H.Whiteley|s Cessna 172. His son was filming and we see similar views of the reservoir from the air. When the water level gets low in summer it is still possible to see the top of the church tower.
