A group of Armstrong family and friends come out of Bamburgh Castle, two of the women dressed in riding clothes. One of the women (Lady Armstrong?) hands her riding crop to a servant.
There is a general view of the sea and coastline from the castle. The group walk around the ramparts of the castle looking at the view, whilst a cricket match takes place in the background. The camera pans across Bamburgh Castle to some tennis courts, then returns to the group standing on the castle ramparts.
Portrait shot of a woman in a white coat and peaked black hood hat, with the sea visible in the background. The family and friends line up along a castle rampart.
The chauffeur opens a car door for some of the Armstrong family. Others wave them off, including the woman in riding clothes. The car drives off through the courtyard, with a view of the coastline in the background.
A groom, or other servant, leads a horse through an arch at the castle. Lady Armstrong (?) climbs onto a wooden mounting platform. She mounts the horse and rides towards camera. Another woman also mounts a horse. The two women and a man ride away from camera. The three canter across a grass area, then practise trotting. The three trot towards camera.
The Armstrong family and friends head towards camera along another part of the ramparts, with a view down a line of old cannon. Baron Watson-Armstrong points out things with his cane. They are joking around. Baron Watson-Armstrong and Lady Armstrong pose for the camera. As they walk past, Lady Armstrong waves her riding crop.
There is a high angle shot down into the courtyard as family and friends walk through. An exterior shot of Bamburgh Castle follows. In the courtyard, two of the women break from the group and dance around on the grass, as the rest continue along a castle path.
There are exterior shots of the castle buildings and footage of family and friends dancing towards the arch. There is another high angle shot as they walk through the grassed area. Lady Armstrong walks arm-in-arm with another woman in a headscarf and floral dress.
The group, including Baron Watson-Armstrong, walk along the castle rampart path.
The film closes with a general view across the castle ramparts towards the sea, with a view of the coast.
