Context
T H Brown added a more sophisticated, bulky and heavy Paillard Bolex H-16, with triple lens turret and constant speed, spring motor mechanism, to his cine equipment, which was adaptable for serious work, keeping his Cine-Kodak for use as a lighter weight, compact camera. The camera offered variable speed, 8, 16, 24, 32 and 64 frames per second with the ability to change speeds while the camera was running.
