The Mini chases the Cortina around the track. In a car park crowds of people look around a display of four ambulances and five appliances from the Durham County Fire Brigade. The Durham Constabulary Brass Band in their white helmets march onto a grass field and perform for crowds who are watching around the edge of the ground. A number of dog handlers and their Alsatian dogs walk onto the field. The dogs perform an obstacle course. One of the dog attacks a man by biting him on his arm. The dog attacks a second man on the arm. The two men seen previously approach and pretend to attack a policeman causing the dog to attack. Four policemen on horseback trot onto the field and perform for the crowds. Inside a large display board reads; 'Bishop Auckland Division'.  General views of various display boards showing photographs of emergencies, special events and rural problems.
