The forces stand at attention. Then, they begin to march, and an unauthorized dog rushes about. There are mounted police, and ta trumpeter sounds off. Spectators and guests watch as the Inspector arrives. The inspection follows. There are three police women standing in the front row, through their rank is not visible. The forces parade in a slow march, and following this, and address is given. A march past is led by a brass band, and there are shots of the Lord Mayor and his wife. The film closes w with a close up of a Union Jack.
