The film opens at the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate where prize winning bulls are being paraded. There is a film crew standing around and holding the microphone up to the animal. Traditional crafts are also on display at some stalls and they include a man making corn dollies and a woman sticking feathers onto backgrounds. There is a horse jumping event in a large arena and following that is the prize giving and then an event with many horses and large carriages. The following shots are taken at Harewood House near Leeds and show both the bird sanctuary and the gardens that surround the stately home. There are close ups of many of the flowers followed by some shots of exotic birds such as a toucan, flamingos and parrots. A few people walk up to the parrots and pet them or let them sit on their arm. There is a sign for `Harlow Car Gardens' and following this are shots of the well-manicured lawns, the huge flower beds full of flowers and close up of some of the more colourful flowers.
