People queue for the Great Orme Railway, a funicular railway at Llandudno to the Great Orme summit. The cable-hauled tram heads up the track. Ground level close-up shot of wheels and track as a tram passes. A scenic view features the sea and promenade, probably taken from the Great Orme headland and site of St Tudno Church and cemetery. The pier stretches out to sea. Overhead shot from the Great Orme of a bay with Lllandudno Pier in the foreground. A steamer ship is moored at the end of the pier. A general panoramic view of Llandudno bay and the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia follows.

A stormy sea and gale force winds lash the beach at Llandudno. Kate Brown looks out to sea. A large group of children are playing at the edge of the waves crashing onto the beach. They are all wearing winter clothes. [Note: This sequence plays at a faster speed.] There are general views of the deserted beach and promenade in the stormy weather, driving rain and the wind lashed bay. Two men examine a boat pulled up onto the beach and now partially buried in the shingle. Deck chairs are stored and covered with tarpaulin.

There is a close-up of a plaque which states, "On this very shore during happy rambles with little Alice Liddell, Lewis Carroll was inspired to write that literary treasure Alice in Wonderland which has now charmed children for generations." The camera pulls back to reveal a marble statue of a white rabbit at the West Shore, a reference to a character in 'Alice In Wonderland.'
