Title – The Tees Bridge Duke and Duchess of York at Middlesbro’ ceremony Arial fly-by view of the Tees Newport Bridge and the surrounding area. The Duke and Duchess of York walk towards the bridge with a crowd gathered cheering on the royals. The duchess is waving to the crowd as the Duke speaks to the Mayor. Three small children stand watching as the boy in the middle waves his Union Jack flag with exuberance. The Duke of York stands with his wife on a podium and gives a speech. After finishing the speech, he declares the bridge open and presses a switch. The bridge is then shown using its vertical lift system. Crowds are watching. The Duchess looks up at the bridge along with others around the podium area. The bridge lowers and re-joins the two sides of the road.
