Geoffrey is on a boat preparing to go dive at North Berwick. He gets help from a man to get into his diving suit and apparatus before getting into the water and is handed his underwater camera. He is then shown filming whilst swimming underwater.
Cuts to footage that was taken under the water. Very dark and unclear but shows examples of seaweed and fish. Then back to more footage of Geoffrey swimming underwater with the camera. Geoffrey gets back onto the boat. This is followed by several shots of Geoffrey getting back in and then out of the water. Footage shows the apparatus used on the boat to harvest seaweed.

Geoffrey on a different occasion at Orkney, is show getting his diving suit and apparatus on. The boat has a sign saying: ‘Institute of Seaweed Research’. This time another man is accompanying Geoffrey into the water. There are more clips of Geoffrey filming underwater with his camera, before more underwater footage is again shown.
