Title: Helmsley With Stan
The film opens with Stan walking in front of a small single storey cottage. He walks over to a car, then the film cuts to a view of a three storey house situated beyond a graveyard wall.
A small roadside sign reads: 'Footpath To Roman Road', an arrow indicating the direction. The camera pans round to another sign which reads: 'Goathland Roman Road - Dogs Must Be Kept On A Lead'
Geneal view of the roadway as it disappears into the distance on the moors. Stan walks along the ancient road towards the camera. A general view shows sheep in the distance on the moorland. Walter Gill walks towards the camera, and a number of other people start to walk along the road.
The film cuts to another sign: 'This Way to Mallyan Spout'
A view follows of a very rocky waterfall and stream, which Stan in a deerstalker hat and smoking a pipe navigates his way through. The camera then pans round to show the famous waterfall. A young girl climbs over the rocks, followed by Stan. A dark section which ends the film shows an area of woodland strewn with daffodils.
