Title: Whitby Again
The opening view is of a school building, where children are gathering, wearing coats and carrying bags. Brief view of a church tower clock. A woman talks to a man with a beard in the playground, probably teachers. Children leave the school and walk along the street outside.
A travelling shot follows as the train pulls out of Hartlepool station. Views follow inside a railway carriage and also of the scenery passing by outside, with tree covered meadows.
A street sign reads: 'Grape Lane' located in Whitby. A man on a ladder is fixing or cleaning a sash window nearby. The schoolchildren stand in the street and point up at them. They then gather outside the Abbey Gift shop, and on to the old town hall in the Market Square,
The next view shows them climbing the famous 199 steps to the abbey. At the top there is a view of the ancient church of St Mary's and the children gather in the graveyard, some of the children waving at the camera. The next view shows the school party exploring the abbey ruins. They gather around a pond near the abbey, and the camera shows one of the huge windows in the abbey. Other schoolchildren arrive at the abbey with their teachers.
A brief view again of the abbey ends the film.
