Title: Saltburn Again 1980
The film opens with a general view of the entrance to Saltburn Pier Entertainments, an amusement arcade. Margaret Gill and her son walk along the pier chatting and laughing together, the funicular railway lift up the cliff visible in the background.
Two men are seated on a bench on the cliff top with a sea view. Down on the beach, parents stroll with their children and people paddle in the sea. A father is under the pier with his young sons.
Seated on the pier, Margaret Gill chats to Walter Gill who holds an arm round her. Her son films with a cine camera. Margaret and son stroll back along the pier, the lifts moving up and down the cliff in the background. A closer view follows of the Saltburn Cliff Lift in action. Children play on a bouncy castle in a fenced-off play area, and ride on a carousel. Margaret and her son are now near the Italian Gardens, where the miniature railway, near to Skelton Beck, is taking passengers for a ride.
A brief shot again records the Saltburn Cliff Lift in action. People promenade along the sea front and two horses are led towards the pier. Cars drive down Saltburn Road past the Seaview Restaurant. Margaret Gill's son heads to the car in the car park on the beach front.
End title: The End
