This is a film of the North York Moors Railway and includes footage of a train making its way from Grosmont to Goathland.  The film includes footage of the train in each station as well as footage along the route through the scenic moors.   On the platform at Grosmont, a few people are waiting for the train.   Sign – Grosmont A steam train pulls into the station, and people on the platform take pictures as it comes in.  The engine has a sign:  Dame Vera Lynn 3672.  People wave to and from the train as it departs the station.   Next, there is footage of the train along its route.  Some shots are filmed close to the track while others are taken from a distance, and the surrounding countryside can be seen.  The filmmaker is situated at different vantage points along the route, and occasionally other trainspotters can be seen.   Sign – Goathland The train pulls into the station, though does not stop at the platform.  As it passes through, spectators watch from the footbridge above the tracks.  The train then stops at the platform, and the passengers disembark.
