Title – Yorkshire v. Warwickshire, Headingly. 1937
There is film of some of the action, from a distance, and Robert Wyatt runs out. The scoreboard shows Warwickshire on a score of 114 (previous Yorkshire innings of 282), with the first batsman, Kilner of Warwickshire, on 58. Then, Len Hutton is trapped leg before wicket to William Hollies. The scoreboard now shows the second Yorkshire innings on 106. It’s the end of the match and Yorkshire is winning by 9 wickets.
The film switches back to Yorkshire’s first innings showing the players coming off for lunch, including the Yorkshire openers Len Hutton and Herbert Sutcliffe. Then the scoreboard shows a score of 176, with the last player out on 75 – either Len Hutton and Herbert Sutcliffe. Again the players can be seen coming off the pitch before more action of the game including a player getting out.
