This reel features a number of different events and locations between 1967-1973 including two weddings, Yeadon airport, a trip to New Brighton, Roundhay Park in the snow, and trips to York and Morecambe.  There are short breaks in between each section of film.  The film opens with a wedding where guests arrive at the church.  After the ceremony, the newlyweds exit the church and pose for photos.  The guests all leave in a procession.  The newlyweds get into their waiting car, being covered in confetti in the process and while the bridesmaids are already seated in their car.  They are next outside the reception, and inside the reception venue, the married couple cuts the wedding cake before posing for photos outside.     Title – Bernard and Barbara  30-5-70 Two men, presumably the groom and the best man, get into a Cortina and drive off.  Next, following the ceremony at St. Margaret’s Church in Horsforth, the newlyweds pose for photographs outside the church.  At the reception at Horsforth Hall Par, the guests are eating, and the newlyweds cut the cake.  They then take off in the VW Beetle for their honeymoon. Title – Yeadon Air-port [sic] A small crowd watches an air display before moving onto show yachts on the Yeadon Tarn at Tarnfield Park, Leeds.   Title – New Brighton 1967 Three women are dancing on a ferry, “Broadchurch”, which is heading towards the Isle of Man.  “Tynwald, Douglas” is written on the side.  Cars and motorbikes get off, while passengers board the ferry.  People are out on deckchairs on a crowded beach, and there is a fairground with lift rides. Title - The End Now in Roundhay Park, people are out tobogganing in deep snow.  There is a warning not to go on the partly iced over pond.  A couple and a young girl feed the ducks.    Title – City of York This section of the film features a coach trip to York.  The group on the coach disembark at the Castle Museum in York.  They tour around the city and move onto visit the riverside, passing the water pump near Skelderdale Bridge.  Two men take photographs as a houseboat, the “Dalrye”, arrives with two couples on board.  Back outside the Castle Museum they feed the pigeons.  The tour group goes to a café and then tour the abbey ruins in the Museum Gardens.  There is a view across towards the Minster from the city walls on Lord Mayor’s Walk.  There is footage of the exterior of St. William’s College, Herbert House on Pavement, and Clifford’s Tower.  The group go inside the tower, and there is footage of the inside as well as aerial views of the city taken from the top of the tower walls.   Title - The End Title – Day Out 1967 In Morecambe, there is a café, with arches, called “The Shambles.”  The group leave and board a coach which drives past a church up on a hill and arrives at a seafront where children are swimming in a pool.  The family plays a game of crazy golf, and there is a replica historic sailing ship, possibly the ‘Espaniola.’  They take in the sun on the beach, and a couple walk along the seafront where there is a totem pole.  They stop off on their journey back home, and the film comes to an end.
