This is a film made by Doug and Norah Brear of a trip by the Wakefield Cine Club to Scarborough, with a commentary by one of the small children who joined them. Title - Chaseley Films Present Title - Expedition Scarbro. ‘68 The group board a coach and part of their journey is filmed before they stop for lunch at the Spitalbeck Inn.  They continue their journey, followed by a Citroen DS.  They arrive at Scarborough and we see the coastal lift next to the Grand Hotel.  They walk along the seafront and the children take donkey rides.  There is a notice for “Seaside Vesper”.  The adults sit on deckchairs on the beach while the children play in the sand.  Some paddle in the sea.  Another notice states, “Jesus Saves”.  They visit the King Richard III café.  There is a view over the bay,  They take a bus to Peasholme, where they go out on a boat in the lake in Peasholme Park  They next go on the cliff railway and the water chute.  The finally re-board the coaches for the return journey.
