Fishermen unload their catch of herring into wooden crates, marked “Sutton Newlyn”, to be weighed – presumably in the fishing port of Newlyn, in Cornwall. A man and a woman are looking around a shop which sells round items made of stone, and the shopkeeper makes the items with a chisel as they are being turned on a wheel. They are then seen down by the coast having a picnic next to their car with a radio, where there is a sunset. There is a large harbour with boats. They take a trip along the coast in a motorboat, with the woman at the wheel. They are next seen on a beach and going along a narrow street very busy with shoppers in a seaside town. They go along the seafront and drive to a secluded bay. The children play on a beach and again they visit a town and we see a road sign for Land’s End. The film finishes with a man underneath a car with the bonnet up.
