The film begins in twilight, looking down on Burton’s tailoring shop, and showing the Christmas lights. It then switches to the daytime and people clearing snow in the Saturday Market Square, with the van for Newbould’s bakery struggling to get a grip in the snow. A digger is shovelling snow onto the back of a lorry. The town centre and Minster and other areas around the town are shown covered in snow. People are tobogganing on the Westwood. Two small children try to push a large snowball. There are shots of various places in the Westwood covered in snow and more shots of boys tobogganing, with one girl on skis. Birds feed in a snow-covered garden, and the film comes to an end.
