A group of women are lined up in fancy dress, and children in fancy dress are seated on the back of a lorry, G W Waite Ltd, Haulage contractors, Hedon, a float, part of a procession. There are more adults in fancy dress, including a man in a Charlie Chaplin outfit standing next to a women dressed as a black cat. They hold up a union jack banner with a picture of Queen Elizabeth II. Charlie Chaplin drives a tractor which pulls a float carrying a woman dressed as a queen. The procession makes its way out of the filed, next to Hedon brickworks and Pottery, J W Robson and Sons, and through the town, with a couple of men wearing a fez. The procession stops in a street.
