This is a film made by Vaughan and Co. of Hull of his family at home in Hedon, Hull.
The film begins with a close up of a girl looking into the camera, followed by two girls, an elderly man and a dog in a garden, next to a bird table. The girls are next in the street outside the house playing with the dog, and then, briefly, back in the garden with a young man.
The film switches to a show in a field, where a girl is being led around on horseback, with other horse boxes in the background. A machine of some kind is shown in the back of a van. There is a street sign for Thorngumbald, and a road sign for Ottringham, and underneath, a small girl holding up a placard, giving the date of 8th June 1946, copyright, Vaughan & Co, Hull.
The film finishes with more family scenes in the garden, this time with three girls, and one of the girls playing with the dog in front of garage doors, with a parked car (Reg. HRH 208).
