Intertitle – Lausanne There is a brief view of a couple of locations in the city before we see the red tour coach parked up followed by a crowded outdoor swimming pool. Intertitle – Pisa The Tower is seen leaning on its side.  At the top visitors walk around. Intertitle – Rome They tour the ancient ruins. Intertitle – Amalfi There is a coastal road and a café. Intertitle – Sienna They visit the main square and other tourist sites. Intertitle – Vesuvius They go up the volcano by chair lift. Intertitle – Sorrento A girl rows a boat into a harbour. Holidaymakers swim in the sea and sunbath on the rocks and there is water skiing.  A fisherman repairs his nets. Intertitle – Capri Boats are moored in the harbour and people explore the caves on small rowing boats.  They take a trip along the coast. Intertitle – Hairpin bends!! They film part of their coach journey from behind the shoulder of the driver.  A man lies sleeping next to the parked coach, while another makes some notes. Intertitle – Camp scenes They unpack at a campsite and set up their tents, with washing hanging out to dry, and sit and eat. Intertitle – Herculaneum There are narrow cobble streets. Intertitle – Pompeii They walk around the ruins.  Two women go on a pony and trap. Intertitle – Florence They film some of the tourist sites, such as the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio.  They are back in a bustling city centre before resting on a grass embankment taking refreshments. They continue on their journey, filming the mountainous surroundings from the moving coach.
