A group of campers are seated on chairs in a circle in the campsite, some of them reading.  There are two small children and a white terrier.  A longboat and other boats pass along a canal.  Some children then go canoeing on the canal, and some go in for a swim.  Back at the campsite there...

A group of campers are seated on chairs in a circle in the campsite, some of them reading.  There are two small children and a white terrier.  A longboat and other boats pass along a canal.  Some children then go canoeing on the canal, and some go in for a swim.  Back at the campsite there is a display of traditional folk dancing, followed by a three legged race and other crazy races involving have to pick up lots of camping gear, for both men and women.  Nearby are deer in a field.  Some boys play football with a dog.  Then there is a men’s tug-of-war and a women’s tug-of-war and various children’s races, followed by a children’s fancy dress competition.  Tents and cars are dotted around the campsite.  There is more canoeing back on the canal, and also on a reservoir with sailing boats, and the film comes to an end.
