Outside the Grassington House Hote,l there is publicity for a scheme to buy a bullock. There are then views over the village and surrounding area taken from up in a balloon. Following this, the filmmaker returns to the village on a rainy day. A woman sits inside with a cup of tea, and there are scenes of the village covered in thick snow, with heavy snow falling. This is followed by bad floods and a very high river.
