This is a film of various school activities at Sir Henry Cooper High School, including sporting events, gymnastics, and a Pedal Car Sprint Race. The film begins with a brief glimpse of go kart racing in the school playground, followed by children clearing rubbish on a country road near a church.  They load the sacks they have filled into the back of a van and then unload them at a tip. Back at the school, a schoolboy has a kestrel on his arm.  He is standing in front of the school playground where girls are doing gymnastics.  He is watched by a couple of school cooks as he strokes the bird.  Next girls and boys arrive at the school gates by bus and then go around on go karts.  There is a short break, and the film returns to show a cross country race around the school grounds and further afield on a foggy day (filmed in slow motion). The film switches back to the school where girls are taking plants out of the school greenhouse and watering them.  There is some more go kart racing, with a poster advertising the Sir Henry Cooper School Humberside Association Pedal Car Sprint Race\Meeting on Saturday May 22nd 1971 taking place at the school.  There is a brief view of someone being wheeled into an ambulance before showing some of the race.  Following this, there are some sports activities filmed in slow motion, beginning with a girls hurdles race and the hammer throw, followed by a tennis lesson.  Boys are cleaning the school mini-bus, which is then driven into a garage.  Then onto a woodwork class where one boy makes a bowl on a lathe.  This is followed by a boy’s cross country race with a water jump.  There is a school float with the netball team on it, showing their cups, ready to move off as part of a local carnival parade, and the film comes to an end.
