This is a film of some family members enjoying a walk around Greenhead Park in Huddersfield.  It also includes footage of Armitage Bridge. A boy and a woman enter the park.  Here, there are children on the swings, a roundabout, double swings, a seesaw, a slide and a witch’s hat.  The boy and woman wonder around the pond, near the bandstand, where children play with model boats.  They continue to walk around the park. Intertitle – Along the Canal Bank They walk along the canal where a group of young men are seated, swinging on a lock gate.  The boy, dressed in his school uniform, picks blackberries from the canal bank.  Some of the young men get into their swimwear and go for a swim.  They continue along the canal path, now accompanied by two men. Intertitle – Armitage Bridge They watch the water flow near the bridge, and later, visit a local church.  Some horse riders pass, and they walk through another large park.  There is a view down a steep terraced street.  A man walks up to one of the houses.  The film switches to show cars driving along a busy street.  A woman arrives at a house, and the film comes to an end.
