The film begins with a view from the front of a car as it makes its way along country roads, stopping off at Alfriston, showing the church, some of the old streets and carvings. They continue onto Seaford and the 7 sisters. Mrs Warburton and Peter look out to sea as the waves crash against the sea walls. A man below is fishing. Next they visit Battle Abbey and the site where the Battle of Hastings took place in 1066. Their next stop is Burwash and the Admiral Vernon pub. Then onto Rye where they go for a walk around the village before going on a train journey on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway to Dungeness. They continue by car, past the White Horse, and filming the wild flowers.
