The film begins showing a ferry, the Antrim Princess, Stranraer, coming in to dock. Cars and caravans drive off. Once in Northern Ireland they visit the Giant’s Causeway. Taking a walk along the coast, the filmmaker captures the unusual cliff formations. Kellswater Flute Band play by the waterside.
There is a parade through the village of Carnlough with the Aughafatten Coronation Accordion Band as part of the Carnlough Civic Festival. They are followed by the Portglenone District 7 band and marching men with their orange sashes and white gloves.
The family drives on to see the ‘Traditional home of President Wooodrow Wilson’s grandfather.’ They continue further along the coast, passing a fishing village and arriving at a dam and reservoir. They drive on through ‘Silent Valley’, showing the scenery, and the film comes to an end.
