There is a sign for Gilwell Park where flags are flying for various countries. There is a sign for “1st Beverley St Nicholas”. A group of scouts are chopping wood and cooking at the campsite. They assemble in their uniform next to their tents, and then pack up their belongings. The scouts raise a Union Jack flag before they are cooking sausages over an open fire. They have their meal with mash potatoes and peas.
Next, the scouts are in an open air swimming pool, where they all jump in together before having some swimming races. Back at the campsite, some scouts seem to be attempting to bake apples with sugar in foil. Next up is dinner, with chops, carrots and mash, and then another dinner with mince and chips (out of focus). They clean the pots and go for a walk.
The board a train at Chingford and arrive at Liverpool Street Station. From here they visit London Tower and St Paul’s before being back at the campsite having lunch and the film finishes.
