The film begins with people swimming in a small chalet pool. They are next at a seaside harbour with lots of small pleasure boats. Two women walk arm-in-arm along a wooded path, the older one with her arm in a sling. They are next looking out to sea, where a lighthouse is perched on some rocks. The elderly woman sits outside ‘The First and Last House’ at Land's End. There is a view down onto houses built near the rocks, one with a water wheel. The film ends with the daughter at a playground climbing rope.
