Three men in Highland kilts walk past The Pump Room.
Intertitle – Drops from the Rich Man’s Table
A group of people stand by the sea wall while others sit above them at tables on the Spa balcony. The espalier steps can be seen behind.

A young woman holds a bundle of programmes which she is selling to the guests.
Intertitle – Tea for Two
A waitress serves tea to two women sitting at a table, while three men in white jackets sing, accompanied by a band, under a canopy. Two of the men do a humorous dance and they are applauded by the audience.
Intertitle – On Sands Below
On the beach a man draws a line in the sand, where a boy stands in a sand pit. Children ride on boat swings with the Victoria Hotel in the background. A man with his trousers rolled up, and clutching a pile of sandwiches, walks past the camera accompanied by a woman, followed by a boy with ice creams, while others lie on the beach.
Intertitle – Watching Punch and Judy
A group of children stand watching a Punch and Judy show on the beach of the South Bay. Behind them other children go on donkey rides.
Intertitle – The Bathing Pool
A group of swimmers are in the bathing pool, and some of them have a mock fight whilst standing on a floating platform. There is also a large inflatable ball with ‘Bukta’ written on it. There is view down onto the bathing Pool from up behind the seating area. Spectators leave their seats. People wander around the South Bay gardens.

A policeman in a white coat directs traffic in a street.
Intertitle – Valley Bridge
Cars and pedestrians cross the bridge as well as pass underneath it.
Intertitle – North Sands
There is a view down onto the North Bay looking down from near top of the Saint-Nicholas North Cliff Lift. Waves crash against the sea walls.
Intertitle – Peasholm Park
Spectators sit watching a performance of the mock war ship battle on the park lake, whilst children paddle in the shallows.
Intertitle – A mild Journey
The train engine backs onto the carriages at Peasholm Station and the ride is filmed from on board, passing the Beach Station on its way and arriving at Scalby Mills where the passengers get off. The engine emerges from a tunnel, having run around the train, and the station master blows his whistle for the train to set off again.
Intertitle – An exciting journey, a chute shot.
Adults and children are sitting on the water chute, which is then pushed off down the slope and into the water. A rope attached to a wheel pulls it back up again and the passengers get off.
Intertitle – Night lights
There is a fireworks display, and the film comes to an end.
