This is a film of a Speech Day at Harrogate College.  It also includes footage of lots of people picnicking on the Stray in Harrogate. The film begins with girls in school uniform, dark skirts, white shirts and ties, who are chatting with their parents next to a large marquee at prizegiving day.  Then there is a large open grass area, possibly the Stray in Harrogate, filled with families picnicking and sunbathing. The film returns to the College and the girls and parents standing around and talking, focusing on two girls in particular, possibly Rachel and Vivien Healey.  The girls, now in their gym wear, do some gymnastics, and then all the girls, in their green skirts, do a big routine with hula hoops followed by a marching exercise.
