A small girl arrives at a nursery and takes off her coat. Another, Afro Caribbean boy, gets his hearing aid checked by one of the women nursery teachers. They have a lesson on the days of the week. A little Asian boy is given some forks to put into a box which he takes to a board to learn the word for ‘fork’. A little girl collects milk in a small trolley to give out to the children. Some of them play in a sandpit wearing large headphones, which they later take off. There are other lessons with flowers. Then they have lunch before playing outdoors, and in an outdoor inflatable pool. Afterwards they have some cookery lessons, baking cakes. Outdoors again they pick wild flowers. Finally they sit in front of a TV and watch film of themselves earlier playing in the inflatable pool as the film comes to an end.
