The film begins showing the sign for Garelochhead Outdoor Centre. There is a look at the town, and the party of older children and young adults, male and female and including two Africans, go off for a hike through some woods and up a steep incline. At the top they put on hard climbing hats and abseil down a relatively small cliff. One lad messes about as he hangs from the rope near the ground. They then walk across a rope bridge over a river. Next they go canoeing on the nearby loch, before going pony trekking and then fishing, and the film comes to an end.
