Description This is a film of students from Odsal House School for the Deaf in Bradford on a trip to Whitby, following on from film 5127.
The children visit Captain Cooke’s memorial at Whitby before going back to the harbour looking at the boats moored there. They then visit Whitby Glass and then go back up the steps to the Abbey, showing the Memorial to Cædmon in St Mary's Churchyard. The girls are then on the beach in their swimwear, shying away from taking a dip in the sea, and making sandcastles. As they leave the beach the film comes to an end.
