Site Gallery, Sheffield pop-up

Interspecies Entanglement is an exhibition at Site Gallery, Sheffield which looks at the relationships between different entities, humans and non-humans, at macro and micro scale, reflecting on the environment and ecosystems. It brings together artists and collectives Mercedes Azpilicueta, Vivian Caccuri, Keira Greene, nabbteeri, Rebecca Jagoe who adopt radical approaches to making work in the shadow of looming climate catastrophe and political upheaval.

In response to this exhibition, we’re curating a series of films that can be viewed over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of April 2023, in Studio I.

The films will be shown on a loop and will explore themes of weather, the right to roam and activism. There will also be a chance to learn more about our new contemporary collecting project as part of Nature Matters.

Head to the Site Gallery website to find out more: https://www.sitegallery.org/event/nature-matters-archive-screening/

The Gallery will be open Saturday 11:00 – 17:00 and Sunday 11:00 – 16:00.
